Yikes….I am stressful!!!!!!!!

o boy, I am feeling kinda weird. My mood is pretty up and down. Gee…am I getting too girly? Damm…no way jose!!! I don’t need a friend to visit me every 28 days!!!

However, I am pretty sure I have been thinking a lot in the past few weeks. Mostly it’s about my work. Pressure become my main source of stress. I always wonder if I could handle it anymore. If I couldn’t handle it anymore, am I going to blow it up?

Please forgive me if I couldn’t talk more on the phone. You know, I do feel sleepy around like 10 ish every night. O boy, that’s why I am so looking forward about next week ‘cus I don’t have to know anything about my work. Boy, I do feel I have a sore neck right now. Would you care to give my a massage?

“if you don’t improve, you are simply fall behind.”

How would you feel when you see someone you’ve been dated before appear right in front of you? Isn’t it kinda weird? I do think so.

It happened to me few week ago when I was going to Save-on food to do my grocery shopping. I was quite concentrated to buy what I really need when someone poked me from the back—–a girl with long black hair standed right front of me! Then she started the conversation by asking, “hey, did we work together before?” I was like, “Kinda.” She then asked me for my number and I gave it to her politely.

When she walked away, then I remembered we’d been dated before. That was like 7 years ago(roughly). Honestly, it’s not a good experience at all. She is just not my type at all. I just didn’t like people yap too much and control too much. Most of all, her dad, I still remember his evil look when I say hi to him. He is so rude.

That girl asked me if I could hang out for coffee with her when I was at the cashier. I quickly replied, “Thanks but no thanks I have to go to Edmonton.”—a really quick rejection. The funny thing is my grandmother did ask me if I am going to give her a chance again. Hahaha, I know she is just joking.

To be honest, there is no way in hell I will want anything from her. Not only the bad experiece that I had 7 years ago, the other thing that really bugged me was her appearance—-she didn’t change a bit!!!. I mean, not only her face, but her clothes, hair style and all that. She is the same like 7 years ago. Honestly, how would that gonna help to attract people that you’ve been dated before? Obviously there is something wrong about her.

There is an old saying in Chinese about improvement: “if you don’t improve, you are simply fall behind.” I guess it works for everything including appearance. However, somebody like her didn’t learn. O well, there ain’t anything we can do about it.

A short summary

o wow, I started to feel like I am pretty lazy in 2009. Think about it, how many blog did I make this year? ZERO!!!! That’s right. Absolutely zero!!! Of cus I could come up with a word that could explain everything: B-U-S-Y. That’s right. I guess it could apply to everything single thing in our daily life..haha

Anyhow, the following are the summary for what kinda things I’ve been through in the last few months:

January: Nothing really exciting going on except I’d plenty of projects to deal with in short period of time. Yup, time wasn’t enough especially when you have to spend times to do the paperwork. Clients were going easy on me. I could have 3 phone calls + numerous emails a day to ask me about the same projects. Thank God, I survived…

February: Other than work, of cus we all know that the most important/exciting day for that month is Valentine’s day. Surpricingly my friend was born on that day. I did wish her happy belated birthday..what? belated? Yes, it’s my fault. Hey, who cares right? hahaha

March: I haven’t seen my dog Happy can be that happy. Why? I think he knows he’s born in March. Up until his big day, I was wondering where the heck I could find himself a muffin(actually, I treat it as a cake ‘cus I don’t he could finish the whole cake.) Fortunately, a pretty young lady made him a homemade, peanut butter cheese cake as a birthday present. Hmm…now I wonder what will I get on my birthday…Oops, I got to deal with her first…

April: Everybody loves BC Ferries!!! Why not? I deal with them regularly and I deal their politics all the time. Every departments love to hold the hammer and most of the time it seems like they couldn’t come up with a complete answer. However, they did survive. Isn’t it amazing? Anyhow, as long as they are paying my bill, I could care less about how they wanna kill each other.

May: Yeah, my cousin’s birthday and it turns out to be a mess. My dear cousin, I know you have plenty of complains but don’t forget, no one ask you to born in this month…wahahahahaha. Anyhow, we do need to be more united, don’t you think??

Last but not least, no matter what’d happened in the past 5 months, I’ve been feeling positive ‘cus I could vent it out to you without hesistation. Thanks for your patience and willingness to share with me your stories as well. Yeah, you are wonderful^_^

Year end clearance

Today, it’s the last day of 2008. I couldnt’ believe time could fly by that fast. I am pretty sure it’s because I work a lot during the year that I don’t even realize how fast it could be.

This year, I could use the word “unexpected” to describe it. There are plenty of things that are unexpected through out this year in my life—–unexpected people entering or leaving my life, unexpected things like having a puppy at home. I have no idea how many unexpected things I could name anymore ‘cus it’s way too many. Once again, life is full of unexpected things. If not, our lives will never have hope.

Everybody is worrying about 2009. If you ask me, I am not going to worry about it ‘cus I think this is a thrend. Things will turn around eventually. Why are we have to worry about something we can’t control? We should all accept it and look forward for the challenges. Am I thinking too positive? You can say that but I do think people should be positive about themselves. Don’t just blame this or that

Last but not least, there are plenty of things or people to enrich my life everyday. Words couldn’t describe how I truly feel . However, you people are always in my mind. Thank you for entering my life.

More questions than answers (part II)

More than 2 weeks speculation, Vivian Chow and her “so-called” partner have decided to get married(finally). Of course, most people, including myself were shocked about her decision. The opinion is quite seperated. Some people wish them all the best. Others are so disppointed about her decision.

If you ask me, I will say I could care less about her decision because she is under her partner’s control anyway. Why? Please look at the whole picture. Who said break up first? He did. Who made a statement first? He did. Who act like a sad little puppy in front of people? He did. I would say, this is all his tactics. Everything is under his control. He knows how she will react if people keep on attacking him(They are together for 19 years. Of cus he will know how she thinks).

See, this is a perfect bailout plan in recent human history. Everybody, including all those people from the auto industries, should learn from him. He plays the game of love perfectly. This is an example of “sacrifice a little and reward a lot.”

More questions than answers…

I think the most hottest news in hk right now is the seperation between 周慧敏 and 倪震.Normally, we never pay much attection about break up. However, because they are celebrities, the treatment will be different. They both release a statement today to tell everybody in the world how they feel about this incident. Unfortunately, I don’t think it will end people’s speculation. Moreover, I do think there will be more questions than answers. I read through their statements and some of the senstances did make me wonder.

In 倪震’s statement, he did say the following:
1)”我問了自己這個問題很久，意識到我這次的錯誤並非如一些損友說是技術上不小心，而是結構上出現了明顯的中年危機”: What did he mean by “結構上出現了明顯的中年危機”? Did he mean physically he has problems? or did he mean there ain’t spake in their relationship?
2)”為了令公眾安心，為了顯示我的後悔和承擔，我決定引咎分手”: Wow, 引咎分手…sounds like he is working rather than dating!!! So is he trying to say that this is more like a responsiblity that he couldn’t take it anymore? Seems like it ‘cus he did say “雨過天青不難，但可以保證暴風雨不再來嗎?”

I don’t really care about how he really feel ‘cus it seems to me that he’s prepared to do it and he’s just waited for a chance to let it out. Yes, I think most people think her EQ is so high after reading her statement ‘cus she did say “我的伴侶絕對犯得起這個錯誤” in her statement. However, I do think people should worry about 周慧敏’s state of mind right now

In her statement, she did say “一個人的問題，兩個人去修正；一個人的挫敗，兩個人去承擔。我倆是一個團隊的，沒分高低，輸贏也是一體 。某程度上，周慧敏早已是一位不同面貌的倪震。” Wow, 2 become 1 fector!! To me, thats so dangerous because she did lose herself. I do agree that we cannot always put “me” in a relationship. However, I don’t know if she is with him for so long that she didn’t realize that she lost who she really is. Between the 2 of them, I do think 倪震 realize their problems long time ago. It just that she did want to face it the truth. So she let him cheat on her over and over again.

I don’t know how many times I see the exact same stories happening among my friends. Everytime I heard or saw it, everytime I would say the exact same thing to them: Don’t lose yourself. Yes, people can say it’s easy to say it than do it. So that’s why I keep talking…hahahaha

Wake up People!!!

I am angry

Basically, I was so angry in the past couple of days about our politicians. I have to clearify this: I am not a member of any parties in Canada. But, I did cast my vote when election comes. Recently, our wonderful members of the parliment(i.e. Libs, NDPs and Blocs) are trying hard to bring down our federal government by joining force as a Coalition. They say the current government can’t function well enough until Steven Harper. Also, they claim they have the support of 60 somewhat percent of Canadian to bring down the goverment and this is so democratic.

So if Libs/NDP/Blocs  think what they are doing is so lawful, then why there are people in Canada phone or email CBC or even try to organize a raly to stand up againest it? My question is, for those who voted for Steve Harper’s party in the last election, did Libs/NDP/Blocs simply trying to say that voting for Harper is wrong and the ballot for Harper and co are not important at all because they have the support of 60 somewhat percent of Canadian?

To me, if the Coalition bring down the Government, I WOULD BE SO ASHAMED TO CALL MYSELF CANADIAN. Let me say this loud and clear: WE DIDN’T VOTE FOR ANY SORT OF COALITION DURING THE ELECTION. PERIOD! So when they join forces to bring down Harper, did they consult the people in Canada for opinion? No they never did. It just like the gang in school didn’t like the skinny kid. They group it together and beat the hell out of him.

Of course, they are people in this country thinks Coalition is a great idea. Simply I can tell, most of them are either from the members of Libs/NDPs/Blocs or people don’t like Right Wing parties. That’s fine. You have your opinion and I respect that  totally. However, we are talking about democrazy in Canada. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with our election system. We cast our votes to those who we think they could represent us in the Government. We made our choices to give Harper and co a chance to run the government because we have faith in them. Winners don’t take short cuts. Simply, Libs/NDP/Blocs are taking short cuts right now.

I really give my head a shake when Dion gracefully accept the role as a PM if they bring down the government. He and his gang lose the election and he said he quitted as the leader of the Libs. All of the sudden when Layton came up with that masterplan, he didn’t even think twice and accept it. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HIM? This guy, I don’t wanna get too personal, but how can we let a guy like him to run the country when we don’t even understand a word from him most of the time? I’ve never seen someone who’s willingly accepted the role as a loser before. Until now….

Speaking of Dion, I couldn’t help to talk about Layton as well. To me, he is the mastermind for this Coalition. Yes, he will not be the PM and his gang will not be the minister of Finance. However, NDPs are in a really nice and smooth position to watch 3 tigers killing each other. Layton and his gang didn’t need to do anything because Dion(the jerk) do the talking to defend the Coalition. I am sure NDPs will be the biggest winner if they bring down the government.

I know I say a lot this time. But, if I don’t say it, I couldn’t feel myself as a Canadian anymore. As a Canadian, I urge everyone after reading my blog, please show your support to our government because we are the boss, not them. We can’t let those people using taxpayer’s money to run their own show!!!

PT – GF?

How many people are there in this world? 600 billion and counting? I think it’s about right. How many times did you hear people say “it’s hard to find the right person in my life” ? I think it’s way more than our population.

To be honest, it’s hard because there is no way in hell you will know who is definately right for you. Like I always say to people, there ain’t any book in life that can teach you how to be a person. Everything is just try by error. Same thing for relationship, it’s just try by error. No one or nothing can tell ya if that person is right for you.

However, people is selfish in nature. I admit I am selfish. But, I am not selfish enough to hypnotize myself. One person did pop up a thing called PT-GF to me, that is, you can hold her hands, hug, kiss or whatever. But, there ain’t any emotional attachment. Does anyone out there understand this? I do. In fact, I think it’s kinda sucks.

I do feel bad for people who want to do it. I am sure people wanna be loved. To me, PT – GF is more like I don’t wanan get hurt but i want to “feel” love at the same time. Moreover, the term “partner” is not applied in that kinda relationship ‘cus there is no emotional attachment. So..what the hell is this? A casual thing?

No wonder why the divorce rate is so high nowadays ‘cus people just dont’ wanna “give” or “show” yourself to others. Like I said earlier, I am a selfish guy. I know if things didn’t work I will move forward. At least, I can tell everyone that I did “give” and “show” myself. If people don’t like it, then so be it. I am not gonna be a cry baby.

Travel Log – - Work edition

Boy, finially I could sit in front of my PC and relax a little bit. I’ve been travelling like crazy in the past 2 weeks: Spent a whole week in Victoria and spent another week in Alberta. I was quite tired. However, as long as there are good food, nothing else really matter.

There are not many good eating place in Victoria (depends on how you see it then). To me, I just want to have something nice @ night that can make me sleep well. I always prefer to have Japanese food in Victoria because i think they have nice set up and you will not feel too full after the meal. However, my personal experience tells me that if the Japanese Restaurant is not in the heart of the city, you can just forget about it. Last time I had sukiyaki with my friend in Victoria. That restaurant is just 3 blooks from her apartment. The food, I would say, it’s around average. But, the sukiyaki that I had was horrible. The Beed itself was over-cooked. The veggies were all raw. I don’t really mind the veggie part ‘cus I know it’s a hot pot anyhow. However, I do mind the set up: They put out a really big wok for all the food and they put a really tiny candle that you can buy in Ikea underneath the wok. Seriously, how can they assume that freaking candle can boil the soup? That’s insane. Moreover, I really don’t the waitress. Her face was black and seemed like her bf broke up with her that day. I was like, “what the Heck? I really don’t deserve that.”

I spent my last week in a place called Whitecount near Edmonton. It’s about 200km away from the airport. Whitecount is a pretty nice small town. I think they have at least 12,000 people living in town. If not, how could they afford to have Walmart? Anyhow, we were there for a week and it’s really cold at night. So the only thing that could make me feel better is to eat. There are a local restaurant near the hotal and they cook really really nice steak. Unless you wanna have lobster or seafood with your steak, the price is not really horrible. It’s only about $25 to have a 2 piece Alberta Top Sirloin steak and it’s about 2 inches thick! I am not kidding. The prime rib is about the same size and same price. I can honestly say that they cook better than a lot of decent restaurant in Vancouver.

Everytime I went to Alberta, I would gain at least 5 pounds. Jee, I think I should stop eating in the next few days…hahaha

Fun time @ Church

I was at the church on Sunday and we were kinda late. So I drove inside the parking lot from the back. There’s a guy finger pointing at me for not going in the church from Granville. I was like, “well, it doesn’t make sense ‘cus I have to drive all the way back to #2 road and turn right again on Granville.” He was like, “If you don’t obey the rule then don’t you dare coming to church.” I replied, “Take it easy, it’s early in the morning.” Then I walked away.

I am not saying I am right this time ‘cus rule is the rule. That’s fine. But, I do wanna say how dare him to say”…don’t you dare coming to church.” That’s not an insult to me but it’s an insult to himself. WHO, IN THE BLUE HELL, HE THINK HE IS? To me, he sounds like if I don’t follow that stupid entry rule then he wanna piece of me. Well then, he is the security or what? or he is part of the management group in the church? If he didn’t like it, he didn’t have to raise his voice. It’s not like he need to raise fucking his voice and sing. Like I’ve said before, I don’t feel insult or anything. In fact, I do forgive him for his low EQ.

Next thing that happened in the church was even more amazing: We were trying to find a place to seat and  we finally got it. Once we sat down, there came a really stinky smell. I don’t know how to describe it. It just too smelly. It’s even worse than Happy’s poo poo. I do think it’s either that person has a bad tooth or something wrong with the stomach. We sat there patiently for about an hour. And finally, we couldn’t wait to get out the church and have some flesh air. It’s hard to imagine for people not to notice that. I mean, that person should know it for sure. How the hell that person didn’t realize that? It stinks!!! Just go and get the cure.

Well, that’s my church and I do think things will get more interesting down the road because the church is still owing the bank tons of money. For some reason, they like to build a lot of things like new houses for the priest and bigger conference room in the church. Well then, where the hell is the money coming from?
